Presley was born on January 8, 1935, in Tupelo, Mississippi, and became one of the best musicians of the 20th century. He obtained the fame in the 1950s. Elvis started his music career at Sun Records with hits like "That's All Right" and "Hound Dog." His charismatic stage presence and provocative hip movements earned him the title of a cultural icon. Later Elvis he did some films. In his life he had to fight with his personal problems then he died on 16, 1977 august in graceland, memphis. Now a days he is one of the most popular musicians of the musical history.
THE STYLE
Elvis was known with his unique musical style that mixed rock, country, and rhythm and blues. His voice and energetic stage presence helped popularize rock and roll in the 1950s. But in his career he also explored other genres like ballads and gospel.
